The SCT2A21 is a 1A synonous buck converters with wide input voltage, ranging from 4.5V to 100V, which integrates an 530mΩ high-side MOSFET a 220mΩ low-side MOSFET. The SCT2A21, adopting the constant-on time (COT) mode control, supports the PFM mode with typical 150uA low quiescent current which assists the converter on achieving high efficiency at light load or stby condition. Applying an external diode on VCC pin from converter output, the quiescent current can be further reduced. The SCT2A21 features programmable switching frequency from 100 kHz to 600KHz with an external resistor, which provides the flexibility to optimize either efficiency or external component size.The SCT2A21 offers cycle-by-cycle current limit, thermal shutdown protection, output over-voltage protection input voltage under-voltage protection.The device is available in an 8-pin thermally enhanced SOP-8 package.
